I don't know of any buildings dedicated to Socialism in the city apart from Trade Union headquarters but the Town Hall is the forum for all debates concerning political matters and has been so for many years. For literature I would strongly advise that you consult the bookshop News From Nowhere (just type in the name) They carry a huge amount of social and socialist books. The one book that is a must for any student is The Ragged Trousered Philanthropists by Robert Tressell which has become a socialist handbook and there is a plaque to Tressell on the Royal Hospital where he died --he is also buried in the city.
Hope this helps
John Husseyjohn husseyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18395333376506584837noreply@blogger.com
