Pellew St

Hi,

I’m trying to find out what happened to Pellew St. And where it was.
My Grandfather lived there 1911 census.

I cant find it on any maps-was it destroyed in ww2?

  1. Hello Perry,

Pellew Street was situated off Ainsworth Street (no Relation) near to Coppers Hill. It was demolished in the 1960`s to make way for the Royal Mail Depot. The attached map of the area dates from 1843 and the other showing Lime Street Station is form 1911.

  3. Hello Perry,

Edward Street no longer exists and is a car park for Royal Mail, Copperas Hill depot. I cannot locate Jones Street. but I am still looking.
