Queries about 3 streets in Liverpool

Dovedale Towers

Hello,
I just have a few queries about 3 streets in Liverpool and hope that you can help me and whether the buildings I am interested in still exist. Can you tell me whether I am correct in my comments below.
The places were all lived in by a child who was sent to Canada in 1897 aged 10 with the Church of England Waifs and Strays Society. This child's descendants are returning to Liverpool and would like to see the places where she lived.
Walton Workhouse, Rice Lane. (I understand that this building is now converted into apartments but parts still exist and could be seen.
Fullwood House Aigburth Road 1890. Think that this building may have been demolished. As the children were moved to Penny Lane. (see below)
Grove Mount, Penny Lane: don't know anything about this.
Any help you can give me would be wonderful.
I look forward to any help.
Good wishes,
Lesley

  1. Walton Workhouse later because Walton Hospital and some of the old WH buildings are still standing.

Fulwood House in Fulwood may have been demolished as the only other building called Fulwood is the park lodge house situated at the entrance but appears too small to have been an orphange. It however could be Number 2 Fulwood Park, but this is not called Fulwood House and was the home of the family that set up Lewis`s Dept store on Renshaw Street, Liverpool city centre.

Grove House on Penny Lane was purchased from the trustees of the "Home for Incurable Children" as a new Parochial Hall and Sunday School. It fulfilled this valuable community function for many years before finally being sold in 1965 and is now called Dovedale Towers, a striking white building sited on Grove Mount Playing fields.
