Keanes pub, Park Lane Demolished in the 1980's |
Hi Rob,
I have a superb painting of the Mayfair Hotel in Park Lane 1950 — there is a sub-title called Cain’s Folly. I would like to know if this building is still standing (suspect not —its too nice) and why was it called Cain’s Folly.
Many Thanks
John
Hello John,
ReplyDeleteusing the power of Google Street View I can see it has been demolished. What a loss as I do recall the pub.

It's smart to use Google Maps. I was wondering the same but I was not sure how to check it.
ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeletedrag the little man on the slider to the road you want to view and it will turn to Street view.
