Birkenhead Schools

Dear Sir / Madam

I wonder if you could advise who I could contact.

I am trying to find out which school my g. grandfather attended in 1891. At that time he was living at 20 Laurel Rd Birkenhead.

I would like to find out what schools were in the area in those days.

I really appreciate your valuable time.

    I have forwarded your email to Roy Dennet of the Birkenhead History Society who may be able to help you. I do know there is Birkenhead Grammar School nearby.

    Birkenhead Institute was the closest secondary school, and I think Woodchurch Road Primary was the nearest primary school.
